I used to wander aimlessly into the gym, thinking 'I'll do a little of this, and do a little of that...' but never had any real focus on what I was going to do and that showed. I was still carrying around about 20 lbs of baby weight from when I had Logan the year before. Though I wanted to loose that weight, I wasn't really driven to, I never pushed myself and held myself accountable for losing weight. So, I really want to thank you for helping me these last couple months. There were always days when I really just didn't want to go to the gym (hell, there still are) but I always look forward to the days that we're going to be working out with you because I not only know it's going to be an awesome workout, but I know it's going to be fun too. You give me focus, you push me when I don't want to be pushed, you put up with my crap and helped me get really motivated toward getting back into shape. You're always so supportive and helpful when it comes to everything, "Jamie, am I doing this right? How many of these are we doing? How do I do this one again?" haha... Thank YOU, for motivating me, giving me a sense of focus in the gym, for being patient with me, for pushing me when i needed to be pushed and then wanting to continue doing it. You're definitely my favorite :) I honestly don't even know how many pounds or inches I've lost, I just know that I feel great, I love how I look now, and am stoked I have been able to keep the weight off, and I really owe it all to you. I am super excited to re-sign with you after the New Year to keep going and promise to not come back a little weakling ;) Hope you have a great holiday and I'm sure I'll be seeing you at the gym!

The picture on the left is of me at the height of my weight gain and the smile is quite deceiving - I wasn't happy. I had been on every diet known to mankind and continued to yoyo to the point that it was becoming increasingly hard to lose at all. My health was suffering, and I was having extreme pain in my feet and legs. I had ballooned up to 245 pounds and a women's size 20 when I was introduced to Ron Fripp of Extreme Fitness. Ron worked with me to develop a fitness program that was taylored to my lifestyle and incorporated Weight Training, Cardio, Core Training, Balance, and Nutritional Guidance. After following this program for 13 months, the results were astounding. I no longer had any health problems, had lost over 70 pounds and was down to a size 12. With the weight training, the inches came off much faster than they ever had with dieting alone. My energy level has skyrocketed, and I am enjoying running again. I owe it all to the dedication and motivation I received from Ron. Without that, I would have quit a long time ago. I have 33 more pounds to lose and know that I can do it by sticking with this lifestyle for the longterm.

If you want to make a new start Extreme Fitness is the answer.. Ron is well educated in his field and makes sure that he passes along his knowledge to his clients. The sessions will not be easy, in fact he once told me “if it is easy I am not doing my job”. When you think it is easy, YOU are not doing your job.
The sessions are never boring and he will push your stamina and expect you to give 100%. In return he will give you 100% of himself. Ron will get you beyond what you would be able to do for yourself.
He never lets you quit because as he says, “there is no change without sacrifice”. The sacrifice’s he talks about is what you are willing to sacrifice to become what you want. If you cheat, remember you are only cheating yourself. It takes willpower to go to the gym. It takes willpower to complete the training. It takes willpower to make the diet changes. It takes willpower to change who you are and what you see in the mirror.

Ron I'm glad I ran into you as well because this will also give me the chance to thank you for being the kind of trainer I needed. I have had 2 trainers prior to you (and was actually a little hesitant to spend the money on a trainer again). My first trainer was a group trainer for my college soccer team, the other was a personal trainer I hired about 6 years ago in Atlanta. Neither of them seemed to be interested in whole body fitness – rather more interested in just getting the hour over with. From the start you asked about my eating habits, what times my body was at its peak energy level, prior injuries, – and most importantly what my fitness/physical goals were. I actually looked forward to my training sessions because I felt that you really wanted to work with me as a team in order to achieve my goals. You were never intimidating, rude, or made me feel as though I was out of shape – on the contrary. You were always positive, energetic (even at 6am), and motivating. You always made sure that I was doing the exercises correctly – even if it meant stopping me, showing me how to do it, and making me start over again. You showed me how to vary my routine so that if I went to the gym outside of a training session I would know what to do, how to do it correctly, and keep it from getting monotonous. It was exciting to see my body start to change and although I don’t know exactly how many pounds of fat I lost vs. how many pounds of muscle I gained – I do know that my clothes started fitting better. I noticed changes in how I looked – and most importantly how I felt. I slept better (I had no more need for Lunesta), & had more energy during the day. I would recommend you to anyone looking to make a real change in not only their physical fitness – but their overall daily health and well being. I think so many people think trainers are useful only if you want to make huge gains in muscle mass or with dropping large amounts of weight. I wanted to change my body and lose some weight like most, but I also wanted to learn how to go to the gym and make the most of my time there – and that is what you helped me to do. Thanks so much for providing me with instruction, advice, and the motivation I needed to achieve my goals.

When it comes to working out and staying in shape, I am your typical procrastinator and skeptic. For years, I have spent countless money on weight loss pills, gimmicks, and everything imaginable on TV to loss weight fast. This summer, I ballooned to my highest weight ever in my life, (hence the before picture). I knew then, I had to change my life, not only for health reason's but also to feel better about myself. That's where I met Chris Pena.
After signing up at a fitness gym one afternoon, I came across his card. I called him and the very next day, we had a consultation and the rest is history. Chris is an incredible trainer, motivator, and professional. I expressed my goals and was even was joking with a picture of Ron saying this is how I want to look and Chris said no problem. Chris' only stipulation was that I give him the same 1000% (yes one thousand percent) he was going to give me.
Chris has changed my life completely. I followed everything he said and believe me it works. I am amazed at his extensive knowledge of equipment, technique, and training information. I promise you, if you listen to Chris, stay motivated, which by the way he is incredible at motivating you, and are disciplined, Chris can and will transform you.
